Had my first fitting!

You look great!!             How many fittings are you supposed to have?   Im haveig my fitting on sept 6th, and shes going to have my dress back to me on the 8th, and then thats it.   Do i really need more fittings than one?

I had this fitting then one more, then I pick up my dress all steamed and ready to go!

I lost 100lbs from having gastric bypass over 3 years ago. I remember walking into "Davids Brides from hell" sometime in March?? and almost walking out of there thinking I didn't want to get married because I couldn't fit into my regular size. Yeah, I had no idea Wedding gowns ran smaller than Street clothes. LOL I was sooo devastated that I'd gotten two dress sizes bigger that I couldn't eat right for the next two weeks!! I hated the way I looked in the dres' that I tried on. None of their gowns looked good on me. They were just not proportioned for a body like mine. I'm so all over the place with my Body. I am still thinking I will never look like a real bride.  I'm having my dress custom made. The lady who is making it for me lives in Utah and travels back and forth. I get to "See" my dress for the first time this Friday!!!  Then she takes it back to Utah to finish it off.  She made both of my Sisters wedding Dres' so I have some confidence in "her".  I'm so scared I will hate myself in it.  But can you imagine how I would of looked in it 100lbs ago?? I just lost 10lbs in the last 3 weeks. I hope to lose another 100 before Oct. 25th!! LOL

You look like a real bride. I'd be proud to be you right now.
