Hi Ladies!  I'm stuck on my hair- I thoguht up then I thought half and half but the ones I've seen of half up and half down seem too casual for me.  But I like to show off my length b/c I have been trying to grow out my hair for 2 years and its just about the length I want. and I like havign it up or at least half up b/c I want a tiara.  Any ideas?  Do you think down is too casual looking?  This brings me to part two.  Tiara's where can I found a reasonably priced yet nice tiaras?  Also, what are you all doing for your bridesmaids?  If your hair is up are you havign them wear theirs similar to yours or does it not matter?  Also any ideas of hair do's for Flower girls?-Sorry kinda long lots of questions.  Thanks again girls you are always so helpful!  =)

- Hair down is alwasy beautiful and sexy! Not really casual, depends on your 'look' All up could be too 'prom' looking sometimes- so it erally depends on what you do...

- I am going to do the same style for my BM's w/ a little twist. Like a side sweeping ponytail, since Im wearing my hair down.  You don't have to do similair styles, its all preferance...

- Were putting my FG's hair all up (messy/cute) to showcase her dress and easier for her all night since hers hair is long

- Went to LA looking for a comb- and all I found were Tiaras- so  that could be a place to look...

- HMM :)

hmm-- prom!! omg i was thinking the same thing!

jab---> you're getting married on a boat right??  that in and of itself doesnt call for a formal 'do kwim??  keep playing around with your hair - you'll find the right look i'm sure!  doesnt your stylist have any ideas?? talk to her about it also - she may have some cool ideas that will work with your hair and face shape...

i'm not spending any time "worrying" about bm's hair - theyre grown women and i trust they know what looks best for their hairtype and face shape...

My 1/2 up hair do was inspired by this picture

I am doing my hair all up. I wear my hair down every day and I think wearing it all up will be elegant, not promy ;) But I am also having a more formal wedding.  Its going to look like this a little messy and a little sexy:

(more PIB)

As for my girls, I just want them to wear it down like how they normally wear it just glamed up a little (back combing, etc.) I am majorly anti-bride hair, I want more sexy sultry 'dos! HTH

Ladies! thank you for this post I was just thinking the same thing... How to wear my hair... I too want to show length, be romantic without being promy. I just saw Natalie Portman in US with a darling pin curl... maybe incorporate that too?

I want my hair to be sexy and free too kohler, not sure how that will translate to a stylist at my locale though?

I also thought about having it down for the cermony, just blown out and a little curled at the ends, and then for reception the side swept pony? but again I wouldn't that want to look too 80's. I agree with Dirty, keep trying things, and also a hair trial will be really informative. I am going to be visiting NYC and there is a great salon there so I hope to ask them for suggestions.

If the hair is down, I definitely think you need a blow out and curl and product so that it still looks special, not just like a brush and go day.

I wore mine 1/2 up for the ceremony and then had it pinned all up for the reception.  I was glad I did it that way because I was so hot during the reception.

My BMs had their hair all up, but each a different style.  They looked fab!

HMM - do you have any trial photos? I'm looking for inspiration as I really want to wear my hair down but can't find any pics of the look I'm going for..
