Ok girls, advice...I've been going to the same stylist for the past 8 years and I love her! She does a fantastic job and I already know she'll be doing my hair for the wedding. The question is, do I need to have a hair trial with her? She already knows what I want, but should we practice??

TIA!!

The hairstylist that does my hair regularly is who did it for my wedding. I had a trial and was happy that I did because I was able to try my veil on with my dress later that day and take pictures. That allowed me to tell her what I wanted to tweak. She wasn't sure we needed the trial but was happy we did it too.

Rach - I don't think it's a bad idea to do a hair trial if you've never worn this particular hair style before. I thought I absolutely knew what kind of hair style I wanted for the wedding (soft, wavy down-do), but after my trial, I realized I looked much better with an updo (which I had just tried out on a lark). If you have a special occasion coming up, maybe you could do the trial then so the trial doesn't go to waste :)

If you've worn your hair this way before, then I think you should be just fine without the trial.

IT cant hurt! And it will make you feel better and at ease! Just do it! :)

Yah, I think practice is alwasy good! Especially since you have known her for so long you are comfortable and can work on finding the right look.
... and practice right before a party or pictures haha thats what I'm doing- kill two birds with one stone, you know?

- HMM :)
