Is anyone using very upbeat and not your traditional wedding reception music? I'm doing mostly gothic metal/rock music.  Most of the songs will be following a "lover" theme but some I am using just for the party aspect. I know I can't be the only one who won't be using soft or romantic songs.

Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!  I am not using traditional songs either.  Our first dance song is not even slow song.  I hate slow songs and don't want any though I am sure that we will have to have a few just to keep people happy.  UGH!

Wow, I give props for using some of my favorite bands like 3 Day Grace and Trapt. I'd be mortified to pu my music up there because only a handful of people will have even a slightest idea of who they are...
