We set up a honeymoon registry on honeyfund and they have an option for you to just set up your page for folks to give you money towards your honeymoon - meaning it's not broken out into sections such as air fare, dinners, adventures, pampering, etc. We did it this way because we havent' decided yet where we're going and when.

Were doing honeymoonwishes but I dont wanna ask for straight cash that seems kinda rude. IMO

DansMrs -- I was actually looking at that the other day! I'm waiting to see what DJ says about it before I go and register on there! Lol!

I had one through WDW, so it was easy to just pick and choose what we wanted. You could always look at some to get ideas. Breaking it down to one night at your hotel, dinner at wherever, shows, etc. Just look into prices of whatever it is you want to do when you're there so that people can feel like they're actually choosing a gift.

We did the same as DansMrs and it was the best move we made! Highly recommend honeyfund.com for couples who don't want 'stuff'.

Sweet!

We did Travelers' Joy, and we set up various items, and added as we went along.

It was slightly disappointing, because we went to Montreal after Canadian Thanksgiving and many of the things we'd planned on weren't possible, so when people asked us, "How was that thing we paid for!?" we told them, "uh well we made it out to the mountains, and it totally snowed, but we didn't quite get the trip we expected."

So there's that.  However, we have contributed to other trips for other couples, and then when they post photos from their honeymoon, and tagged us, saying thank you.  That's pretty neat!

I used HM wishes via Project Wedding for our HM registry. We placed the dollar amount of the HM package that was offered on our cruise line down as a gift and luckily we got it!

We are doing travelors joy and here are a few example of our planned trip to Buenos Aires and Mendoza. I tried to make it descriptive so our friends and family could feel like part of the trip planning process! It required a little research like finding recommended restaurants to check out, but it made me excited too!

"CAFE TORTONI With all our city exploration we will need daily does of coffee and yerba mate! Cafes are a way of life in Buenos Aires, but Tortoni is perhaps the most famous cafe in all of Argentina, patronized by celebrities since 1858."

"COOKING CLASS The classes are held on a special prepared place underneath the old walnut tree at Finca Adalgisa Hotel Boutique & Winery. Preparations like empanadas in the clay oven & chumichurri sauce based on Arauca olive oil form the Finca itself."

"WINE TASTING In the Andes Mountains at local wineries! Including some malbecs from Bodega Trapiche and Bodega Familia Di Tommaso."

"HORSEBACK RIDING There is climbing, hiking and trekking on Cerro Aconcagua and other peaks and foothills, aragliding from 2997 ft (700m) Cerro Arco and horseback riding, fishing, and wildlife watching."

Hope this helps!
