Talk to the manager. Be firm. Don't let them cheat you. Don't leave the ring there to be sized until you get this resolved. If the manager is a dick, then call customer service (1-800-877-8169) and insist on talking to the customer service manager.

I got my ring from there and they sized it for me for free. They did it when I picked out my ring though. It might be different if you actually take the ring with you then bring it back. I think you should stick to what you think they told you and talk to a manager.
