My SIL had an early ultrasound and was told it was a girl with her first and he was definitely a boy! She found out at 20 weeks that her 'girl' was really a boy.

i have heard that it is easy to mess up & say girl when it is really a boy... some boys just have small bits... i have never heard of anyone being told boy & it being a girl...

With my daughter we went in at 17 week u/s and was told it was a girl.. And I always had weird dreams about having a boy... so DON'T stress!! And besides your going back for another u/s and your worries will be but to rest. :)

I hope they don't mess up on my gender U/S! thanks for sharing ladies.

My friend's sister had an early ultrasound done (maybe around the same time as you??- I forget) But they told her they were 90% certain it was a girl. So they go out, do the whole nursey in pink, but all of their stuff in pink. A couple weeks later wouldn't you know- they have themselves a happy baby boy :( Obviously they weren't too upset- a baby is a baby is a baby right lol.

On our ultrasound it was pretty obvious it was a boy, we saw right away. My intuition (and DH's) had said girl and I continued to have dreams up until I delivered that I would have a girl.

I have also heard of a few oops when they were told girl and it turned out to be a boy. I have never heard of the opposite happening.

I was told two boys at 16 weeks and it was very obvious! I do believe it is girls that end up being boys but I never heard of boys ending up girls.

I am so lost.. Is this the second or first time you have trouble at a gender ultrasound???

You seem to have to worst luck with the elective ultrasounds.

Oh.my...I'd hate to have that kinda luck. Or maybe I wouldn't have anymore that I have to pay for.

What are the odds! Sucks that your going through this AGAiN! Hopefully someone gives you a straight answer soon
