I am bummed because I have had such an awful week as far as weight watchers and its only week 3. I am not sure what it is but I'm sad...encouragement need.

aww, you can totally make the decision, RIGHT NOW, to get back on track!!!  It's easy to eat healthy and clean, tell yourself that!  Draw a line in the "sand", and start over!  I do that WEEKLY.  :D

:( If it makes you feel any better, I've eaten half a package of cookie dough in the last 2 days! That's, like, 4 billion calories. I feel mildly better that it's all-natural, organic (hahahaha), but I'm still so disappointed in my lack of self control...

That said, tomorrow is a new day (in fact, this second is a NEW MOMENT) to get back "on the wagon" and start fresh!

The best you can do is make a plan:

  • What are you going to eat this week?
  • Are you going to do all your shopping ahead of time so you have plenty of healthy eats on hand?
  • What are your exercise goals?
  • How are you going to get past the challenges and temptation that NEVER go away?

Write this stuff down; consider keeping a weekly journal where you repeatedly answer these four questions. Read it anytime you reach for the ice cream (or whatever your particular weakness happens to be). Or use another method if you know what works for you. The point is, have a plan. I definitely have a plan to get past the cookie dough binge :)

Figure out what's triggering your lapses in motivation. Start eliminating them one by one. For instance: If it's feeling like you need to eat the same as your FI (as many of us do), stop making the same food for both of you, or eat from a smaller plate. Stuff like that takes conscious change, and constant vigilance to stay on top of it. Otherwise, your triggers will always get the better of you. But you already know all of this!

Go a little easier on yourself! You can only beat yourself up if you KEEP going backwards instead of forward! And I know you won't, because YOU CAN DO THIS!!

OMG, me too.  I have done horribly for about 2 weeks now.

Personally I need to plan everything inorder to stay on track.  If I don't plan then I have trouble staying within my points.  I also have a list of restaurants and their points written down so in case of an emergency I know what to eat.  It was long to set up at first but now it is much easier.

I eat the same ceral and milk every morning and bring my lunch to work.  For supper I take meat out in the AM and figure out what I will eat during the day.

Because I like wine with dinner I count a bottle from my flex points (18) right away so that I can open the bottle and take a week or a night to drink it.

What areas are you struggling with?  Anything we can help with?

Its tough and weight loss is supposed to be tough it isn't like the biggest loser where you lose 15-20 lbs in a week. You can do this girl i know you can accomplish all the goals you set for yourself. Don't give up.

what i keep thinking in my head is ring ring ring wedding wedding dress dress dress and it really gets me motivated!!!!
