Your dress is amazing-I also am wearing a monique lhuillier dress too and have my doubts but my advice cast them aside-you will look sensational!!

Margaret - just don't think about it anymore. It's one thing off of your to-do list and move on to the next project. The more you think about everything, the more you don't want to spend any money on anything! You will look gorgeous in your dress (still have yet to see pics of it). Now 2 years after our wedding, I wish I had bought a Monique Lhuillier dress! =)

I know what you mean. I found a dress I love, but I can't swallow the price tag. Without tax or alterations it would cost $45 per minute to wear. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Maybe if I hadn't done that math I would be ok. I don't recommend calulating the minute by minute cost of your dresses. It might make you sick :)

But you dress is beautiful. I would have no regrets.

I think your dress is so beautiful! And you might try to sell the dress after the wedding to get some of the money back...might make you feel better.

i love the dress. i'm sooo green w/envy.. don't worry its common for brides to get cold feet w/their dress prior.

the only mistake you could make is not getting the dress you really want, trust me, I made a horrible mistake with my first dress, I wasn't happy with it, so to make the long story short, ended up looking and buying a second dress...much happier now, satisfied...so as long as your satisfied, don't worry about it.....your wedding is only once in a lifetime but money can always be made....

It is beautiful... If the cost is the only thing bothering you, then just take good care of it on the day of, have it cleaned by a specialist, and then resell. Just think... You can enjoy the dress of your life guilt free and your beautiful gown will have a second life to live! ;) Buying a sought-after designer also has perks in that the resell value is higher.
