went to my obgyn yest, kinda my 2nd prenatal ... first confirmed bloodwork and hcg and all. this one was the fam history blahdi blah. so DH is so anxious, i was only 5wks 5days .. he asked for us to have an ultrasound. so we scheduled TODAY!

low and behold, baby is measuring 6wks 1 day and i saw AND heard hearbeat!! go fig, DH couldnt get out of work early 2 days in a row, so mom went with me. but holy moly ... a heartbeat!! saw and heard! with no problems!

sigh.. we are so so happy. now tomorrow to tell his family! making pink and blue cupcakes for our usual friday night dinner get together. my hubs is the first boy to have a baby and we were just married in dec, everyone will be so psyched! :)

Congrats! I'm almost at 9 weeks, and I'm anxious to tell my family members too! I haven't had my first official ultrasound yet, and I really want to hear the little heart beat! Can't wait, and keep me posted on your pregnancy status. I'm always looking for friends that are going through the same pregnancy symptoms I am, lol.

Isn't that such an amazing thing to hear?? I absolutely loved hearing the heartbeat for the 1st time :) Congrats!!
