Last night FI and I were talking about plans for the wedding.  He's always asking what new ideas I've had.  So I was explaining some of the rustic theme ideas.  I told him I was thinking about doing white tablecloths with some sort of table runner/center square/overlay/etc made out of burlap.  I said, "it'll be a little bit elegant and a little bit rustic."  He grinned really big and said, "Like the Beverly Hillbillies!!!"

UGH!!!  Why don't boys think before they talk?

LOL, They just dont know any better, and they definately don't envision wedding things the way we do :)  You had to see my  fi's face when I mentioned wearing a birdcage veil!

That is so nice that he even asks about your wedding ideas.  My fi doesn't really bring it up at all.

That's too funny...but hey, you're marrying a man with a sense of humor- what more could you ask for? :)

They really have no clue what we're going through. I mentioned the flower girl the other night and FI said "We're having a flower girl?" to which I replied "Uh, yeah. My niece." When he responded "why?" and made an I'm stupid for wanting a flower girl face I just wanted to strangle him.
