*HEALTH: FIBROMYALGIA?

Anyone have fibromyalgia?  What are you dealing with right now?

I am 32 and have fibromyalgia.  I am out on Social Security Disability.  I have been having sooooo much pain in my neck and head.  It is getting worse, and I now have pain down my right arm into my elbow.  The rest of my pain is gradually getting better, but this is the pits.

I had been pretty good and not depressed for 8 months, but now I am depressed again. It doesnt help any that all my bffs are out of state and 1000 miles away.

Well I'm here I have Arithritis in both knees and in both hands there are days I can't hold anything. I have major pain pills and know what it is like to be depressed. I was going to take my own life not long ago.

Please don't be depressed if there is anything I can do please let me know.

thank you, janandgerald.  i have battled depression for many years. it comes and goes.  i have found that saint johns wart helps.  i use the solaray brand cause it has worked for me.  not all vitamin brands are good.  it is less than $15.  i am sad that i am going to have to go back on it.  just thinking today and realized that i am depressed again and have been for the better part of a month.  stress is a big thing for me.  stress causes pain if you have fibro, and i have had tons this year.  dad had heart attack in april 2010, triple bypass in may, pneumonia in sept, stroke in dec, and mom had kidney infection in feb 2011 and almost died.  now dad is sick again and they are trying to find out what it is...they think it is some type of cancer.  i have arthritis too in feet and hands, plus i have an under active thyroid.  i am going to a natural dr.  she has really helped my fibro, and she has given me stuff that is helping my arthritis too.  my big thing is that i need to vent sometimes.  i dont have friends in the same state.  i am praying that god blesses me with those soon.  i prayed for friends years ago and god truly blessed me with some great ones when i lived in kansas city.  now that i am back in greenville sc i am far away from them.  as my health improves i am looking for some way to get out of the house and meet people and make new friends.  just havent found somewhere yet.  thinking about finding a church...hate the process.  but i need it, so i will have to deal.  at least i can get on here and vent when i need to.  thanks for listening.
