i'm soo proud of you Mare...my best friend from HS had gastric bypass and it's been a lifesaver for her too...

and 25 lbs is nothing to sneeze at...that's more than half of an Olsen twin!! :)

weight to some people is just "weight" but to others, it's got emo baggage attached to it...

kudos to you for taking your health into your own hands!!

a few of my gfs have had the band and gastic bypass - and i can say it changed their health outlook for diabetes, etc...

proud of you!!!

Congratulations to you for taking that hard and emotional step.  I have lost about 30 lbs to date, but I am losing more inches.  I have posted a before and after picture.  Keep at it, i know it is very hard.  Like I said you can PM if you like to talk.  I just thought I would open up to let you know you are not alone!
