I am just looking for an opinion. I believe I am about 6-9 weeks pregnant. I wasn't paying attention to my cycles. I have a fetal doppler. I spent a lot of money on it due to my last miscarrige before my daughter. Anywho I know you can't "hear" a baby heartbeat this early but my doppler was registering a second heartbeat at 130. Do you think it could be from the baby?

It's very possible, especially b/c it's in the normal range of a baby's heartrate, but don't get worried if you can't hear the heartbeat or if it doesn't register. I went in for a visit at 12 1/2 weeks, and they couldn't find a heartbeat on one of the boys with the doppler. She said not to worry about and that it's very common...they're just so tiny and the heartbeat is not very prominent yet. We did an ultrasound to confirm everything was ok, and it was.

It's possible. But it's pretty rare to find a heartbeat with the doppler this early. It's why most OBs don't even try with a doppler until past 12 weeks. At 130, it shouldn't have been your heartbeat. :-)

I heard mine at 10 weeks...that being said, my doppler is ALWAYS way way off with the heart rate....maybe it was just reading wrong?

Its possible, but not likely to find a heartbeat that soon. My doctor was really surprised when we heard DDs heartbeat when I was 11 weeks pregnant- she said that was early to hear her hb.

It is possible. We were able to hear DD at 9 weeks, my MW was surprised.

Well, I don't know much about dopplers but since I heard my baby's hb at 10 weeks, I'm gonna say it's possible! :)

It is possible, but using the doppler when you are not medically trained can give you all sorts of weird results so it's best to see your doctor or midwife
