Well the day turned out to be absolutely beautiful - but not without a few hitches!!! :)
We arrived at the salon at 8am for our hair and makeup. As my stylist started on my hair I got a message on my phone from my photographer! He had a Family emergency and wasnt going to make it!! WHAT!?!?! He was "working"
on finding a replacement!! SCARY!?!?!
Well... he did find a replacement for us and the two photographers that came were absolutely amazing!! We arrived at the church a bit late and as I was getting dressed - my sister went and gave Jon my B-book! He was so
embarassed apparently! haha Cant wait to see his face (my photog. snapped some pictures). And he cant stop looking through the book even today!!! :)
As my BM's were all getting dressed - one of my girls zippers wripped right off her dress!! OMG! Now what!? they called the dress shop - NOT OPEN!?!? So my amazing mother-in law ran the dress down the street - luckily the
tailor shop was open. She gave him the dress and they sewed it right up and she was back before we even knew it! Thank heavens!!!
Then the moment came where I would see him for the first time - it was beautiful! He turned around and Stared! hehe and then he gave me a Tiffany's bracelet with the date and "Always" engraved on it. So beautiful!!!
We took a bunch of pics inside because it was super cloudy and looked like it was going to rain outside!! (It was sad because we were planning on riding in pontoons over to the reception). We were working on a backup plan for
that...
But then about 10 minutes before the Ceremony started - the clouds parted and the sun came out and it was shining through the windows throughout the entire ceremony! It was amazing!!
I made it through the ceremony without crying -
which was amazing considering the grooms dinner i was a ball of tears talking about my friends and family....
We got to take tons of outdoor pictures after the CER - including some in our cowboy boots! haha
And then everyones favorite part of the day - we hopped on 2 decorated pontoons and cruised over to the reception! It was so
beautiful outside!! we got to the cocktail hour REAL late - so the reception started late - but oh well! It was so nice outside - no one wanted to go in for dinner! haha
The reception flew by so fast --- it was just so much fun! I ended up LOVING my bustle -- but of course when i took my high heels off - it was getting stepped on left and right so it had to be pinned quite a few times! So all of my
dancing pictures are of me holding up my dress and trying to dance! But I got so many compliments on my dress and my shoes and my hair! Everything was a big hit!
My flower lady did an amazing job! The cake was amazing! The uplights were beautiful! I loved the entire day!! I am so happy to be Mrs. Cullen and can't wait for our HM in Ireland!! Hope you enjoy some of the pics I found from
other people on Facebook. Can't wait for the pro's! :)
