Hello!!

I feel like finding Project Wedding was such a blessing and then when I didn't think it could get any better.... I FOUND THIS GROUP!!!! I am soooo excited! I've been reading posts for the past hour and am so impressed with how sweet and supportive everyone is! It is so wonderful! Everyone has such great things to say and amazing advice! I hope to share a lot with everyone and I am looking forward to getting some great help from everyone too! 

So none of my wedding plans are set in stone yet.... but I am getting pretty serious about some things... like...

Has anyone ever worked with the Sir Francis Drake Hotel? Any advice there? 

I'm looking for a great wedding band and photog/video so input welcome there!

I've been pricing out string quartets and brass quintets so once i get finalized pricing from all these vendors i will share about which is the best value!

We looked at the Drake!  It is absolutely, insanely, gorgeous!!!  Unfortunately it was way out of our price range for the amount of people that we are planning to invite (130-150).  Robin was our contact over there and she is so nice and can really work with a budget to help you cut your costs. (haha I talk as if I had my wedding there)

I think their plates start around $110+, but from my quote that included the champagne toast, food, cake, linens, and service.  Their catering comes from Scala's and its supposed to be really good I hear.

What is your budget for a photographer?

I recommend Kate Harrison, Dorothy Hatchel and Stephen Loewinsohn.
