HELP!!!!

So - I was supposed to meet with an officant yesterday but I found out their fee was $495 and that didn't even include the rehursal!!!

How much should they be? Is that high?

That seems high to me.

I was looking at a service including rehearsal and it was right under $350 - maybe its lower bc i am in NY  but that seems high, espcially for no rehearsal!

mine is $650 and doesn't include the rehearsal.  i know that's ridiculously high but we really wanted to use him.

i think the average is about $300.

We are using our pastor so its only 200...man 650 is super high...I would def want to go to JP or something!

You are lucky!!! Ours is $900 and he doesn't come to the rehearsal!!

Justice of the Peace....city judge....we lucked out...FI's parents are long time close friends with a judge who's marrying us for free....

ha - our officiant's name is JP.  i was totally confused for a second.

Mine is $300 and it includes rehearsal. $650 seems pretty high, when I was searching, they ranged anywhere from $250-500.

We are using my FI's Grandpa! He is ordained, and has married other family members. Yay he is free!! But we will get him a good gift... especially after seeing how much you girls are paying!
