This is one of mine and DH's favourite shows.

Wondering if anyone might know who the artist of this is?  The picture is a screenshot I grabbed from the DVD; Season 4 finale, Lucifer Rising.  It is of Arch-angel Michael smiting Lucifer.  DH believes it to be from the Renaissance Era.

i don't know if you've found your answer yet, but i just discovered that google does this amazing thing now... you can do a search by inserting an image! so inserted your image and found a website that says: The painting is Saint Michael Killing the Dragon by 15th century Flemish painter Josse Lieferinxe.
