My sisters are my bridesmaids...oh and we found their dress today!!! It looks great on both of them.  It is NOT the dress in my bio and is nothing like what I had pictured in my head but I think it is going to look wonderful...once I have a picture, I'll update the bio...

Anyways...I would like to get both of them earrings and a bracelet but one sister has pierced ears and the other does not.

Does anyone know a good resource where you can buy earrings that are the same but with different backs (clip & pierced)?

Thanks :-)

I don't know where you can buy clip-ons from, but my sister doesn't have pierced ears and all my other BMs do and I am DIYing their earings so I went to Joannes fabrics and found both clip-on backs & pierced type backs. If you can't find any that are already clip-ons, you may be able to purchase both as pierced styles and then unhook the one set from it's backing and reattach to the clip-on backing you get at the craft store. I hope this helps some!

My grandma said that only "those girls" get their ears pierced so she only buys clip ons.  I just think it's funny because all her daughters and I have pierced ears.  Anyways, my whole point is that we went shopping at Macy's last weekend and found a few different designers who sell clip ons.  I was actually surprised how cute some of them are.  I would check some big department stores and see if they have any on their earing racks.

LOL - some ideas that grandma's have are just so cute! :-D

Macy's is a great idea.  I'll have to check them out!

If you buy silver or gold earrings, you should be able to get the silversmith, or goldsmith the change a set of the earrings to clip on.  Doesn't cost too much money provided the earrings are not too heavy.

See this article.

Or you can buy Earring converters that just require you to bend the post and then add the converter to it.  See link below...

I second Etsy, I am sure someone on there can accommodate you.

people should easily be able to change the backs. buy the earrings and bring them to a crafty person, jewelry maker or do it yourself. as you can see, it is just a ring on the clip-on that you would have to attach it to. like, using a needlenose plyer, open the ring of the earring design (whatever is attached to a hook back earring) and re-close it on the new clip-on back. that way, you don't have to limit yourself while earring shopping :)Fancy Free Silver Tone Tassel Drop Clip On Earrings
