HELP! Damaged MOH Dress

We ordered our MOH and BM dress through House of Brides and my MOH dress came in damaged!  There are black dots all over the top and the stitching for the boning is uneven and causes one boob to be flattened and the other cone shaped.  The wedding is in 8 weeks and the company said she would have to pay $50 to ship it back for them to determine if it is damaged or not.  It takes 14 weeks to ship and I don't know what we are going to do.

Anyone selling a Bill Levkoff dress size 8-12 in either sable or taupe?  I have looked on craig's list and ebay to no avail.  Any advice???

did you check with kohler to see if the BL dresss her mom had in her store were sold? i think they were the taupe color??

what style number?

Did you call and tell them that it is NOT acceptable to send damaged materials to you and that you INSIST they send you a new dress right away at no charge and that you are going to report it to the BBB if they don't?

I'm so sorry to hear that I hear a lot of brides are having problems with house of bride its ridiculous of they think cause weddings are a one time thing they can mistreat people cause they don't have to worry about repeat customers! I'm sorry again I hope you can find what you are looking for and everything works out!
