I know that is asking a lot.... but I finally reviewed the information my mom obtained from my dream venue, Pierre's Restaurant.

Here is what I got so far....

Site fees:
In order to have the restaurant closed to the public the quote is as follows:
  • Friday $7,000
  • Saturday $8,000
This cost is for the site rental only, excludes the cost of food and beverage. It includes the beach front for the ceremony, the veranda, beach and lounge for the pre-dinner cocktail party, the fully furnished and staffed restaurant and the services of an Event Liaison. WELL... since we don't want a huge wedding, I wonder if we really need to have the entire site closed to the public? Really we need the beach for the ceremony and a private room (which they have) for dinner and dancing.

Open Bar:
  • Call Liquors and Wines $25 per person first hour, $20 each additional hour
  • Premium Liquors and Wines $35 per person first hour, $30 each additional hour
  • Beer, Wines and Soft Drinks $20 per person
  • Add Gourmet Martinis $2 per person
Under 21 pricing is available

Food Averages:
  • Hors D'Oeuvres $12 to $48, for a dozen
  • Soup and Salad $9 to $15
  • Appetizers $13 to $36
  • Entrees $34 to $45
  • Desserts $8 to $19
  • Children's Entrees $25

There is also 20% gratuity is added to everything, and 7.5% sales tax... Anyways.. long story made short.... I would be looking at a....

Grand Total: $9,651.20 excluding site rental.....

Ummmm.... it think that might be a bit much for 40 people.... SO I need help finding something simular, but less $$$ TIA!

It looks beautiful! What about a Saturday morning or maybe a Thursday or Sunday wedding is it still that high?

The restaurant seems to one of those "dinner only" places.... however my mom did mention a lunch menu when she discuss with their events planner. I didn't think of that...

Also she mention that they have been featured in the real weddings on the knot a few times.... so, i'm sure that helps with the price ;)

I think most of the PA people are just going to make this a "long weekend".. so I wanted to keep this as much as a Friday or Saturday affair.

Plus I'm not sure if the site rental is for the "in-season" rate since we where thinking February... which is FL's in-season.

I did just find Key Largo Grande, which is run by the Hilton Chain... so I'm still on the hunt....

As long as you have less than 46 people, Pierre's won't have to close the entire place for your wedding (at least that's what their website says).  Still, the food and beverage costs are crazy!

I'm also getting married in Islamorada, but we're having it at a private estate.  We have the estate for 4 full days and it will double as lodging for about 20 people in our group.  You may want to visit Stay in the Florida Keys to search for rentals in the area.  We're having Caribbean Catering in Islamorada provide the food, rentals, and staff.  We're saving money by buying the alcohol ourselves.

You might also look into the Islander Resort in Islamorada.  Or Cheeca Lodge, which is reopening on December 15th this year.

That restaurant was gorgeous, but way too expensive for 40 people, lol. We are getting married on Key Largo at the Dove Creek Lodge. www.dovecreeklodge.com
