Hi Ladies,

Im kinda down. Heres the thing for my birthday my FH & I were going to get a hotel room & just have a party for 2 & have this major make out session like we did back in April or may. We know our boundaries but I wish we could do this. It really helps me just totally distress from the craziness of my life dealing with my crazy mom on a daily bases.  But he was telling me that about how I have to be home like at around 1 or 2 am  cause of that crew few thing  ( anyways that’s another story) & my crazy mom will have a fit if I came home at 5am in the morning plus I can’t sleep over.  I really really  want to do it on my birthday ! So how can I still do this? Any ideas????

I understand the whole live under my roof, Live under my rules kind of thing. Do you still live with your parents? Being engaged and at the age of 26 I think it's time to cut the cord and stand up for yourself.

I agree with augustbride. Maybe it's time to move out or maybe pay her some kind of rent so that she'll allow you more freedom.

Ditto the other ladies, it's time to cut those ties, in my opinion. 26 is pretty old to be having a curfew. Why don't you just ask if you can pay rent, or consider moving out on your own?
