I'm questioning everything... I don't know if I should use my original colors because when I go to the florist and linen person, they automatically think bright florescent, and thats not what i'm going for...i was thinking orange BM dresses w/ the 3 colors mixed in the bouquet....green linens with 3 colors mixed into the tall centerpeice...ideas...suggestions...help

My first suggestion would be to go to Home Depot or Lowes and pick up some paint swatches for shades of the colors you are wanting. That way you can take them with you to your vendors and that will help them to see your vision. I have had the same problem with my colors and this has helped. Your combinations and what you want to do sound great!

People had a hard time with my vision too. I would recommend finding pictures of what you like -- check out stylemepretty.com, and she had a bunch of links to awesome wedding blogs that have good pictures. And I would also recommend not trying to get the exact colors for everything. I think it gives some depth to have varying colors and makes it look not so matchy.

Good luck!

I agree with Cari and Moe...get some swatches and photos to share with your vendors. Some people are more visual than imaginative. FWIW, I love those colors and a lot of brides are using them these days. I did orange and lime green with aqua, my friend did hot pink, lime green and cherry red. Bright is beautiful and happy!

Here's the bouquet that inspired mine:

And here's the bouquet I carried on my wedding day:

Circus Roses with Green Gymbidiums wrapped in Ti Leaves and tied with raffia.

Check out the lastest cover of Martha Stewart Weddings. They used the same colors for the wedding flowers. It was the one where the Today show planned the wedding.

The color combo you picked is lovely ;) You really pick some swatches and show that to your vendors so they can get a better idea of what you want.
