I just realised last week that postponing the wedding from May 22 to October 1, makes a difference in a lot of things;
Food May: we're having an intimate small wedding, with the ceremony being the "only" traditional part. So we were thinking of throwing a crawfish boil in as dinner, with a lot of side dishes of course. Two of FI GM's
are great Cajun-style cooks and were all about the idea. Good thing about crawfish is that you have to boil them in parts, so you can fill your entire afternoon/evening with eating ;)
Food October: uhmmm, there wont be any crawfishes around that time a year. Our ceremony will be around 1-1:30pm so we were thinking of doing a lunch reception, with cold pasta salads, sandwiches, soup. But cause we wanna party
all the night, Im thinking of setting up a BBQ later at night. Anyone ideas for inspirations pictures? (I just started browing wedding blogs, so any help is welcome)
Inspiration board May: From the first moment I heard about the wedding colours/scheme (never ever heard about it before PW lol) I knew what my colours would be: black-white damask with a pop of hot pink. This is the inspiration
board a friend made for me (she organised the pics, i researched the pics)

Classy, kinda chique...
Inspiration board Ocotober: although Ive been in love with my inspiration board for a long time, Im starting to doubt it now. The weather will still be beautiful around that time a year in Louisiana, but the colours dont make me
happy anylonger. I lean more towards charcoal grey as a basic, but Im not sure what other colours to go with. FI loves all kinda blue, anyone ideas? I do love the yellow along with it, but aint that too Sping-ish again?
Overal feeling: We will have an all outdoor wedding at a pavillion. We're thinking about having picknick tables set-up, I would LOVE to have our 2 person hammock there haha. Just imagine a backyard wedding kwim? We wanna use
paper lanterns as lights & decorations during the way, FI wants to have Tiki-torches at night.
Any inspiration is welcome on this lazy Sunday morning / afternoon / evening! ~ TIA
