You were all so helpful when I asked for tips previously here.
We've since decided that a City venue would be best since a lot of guests will be from out of town and it'll be easier for them to stay in the City.
So the dream now is to find a venue (1) in the City (2) with a view, and (3) small enough to not dwarf a party of ~60 people. Overall budget is about $15,000 (for everything).
Things I've looked at:
1. University City Club
- FI loves it, but I was hoping for something more modern.
2. Hotel Vitale
- Awesome terrace for ceremonies, but it's not quite working out in terms of dates.
3. Westin St. Francis
- The dream! But food & beverage minimum alone is $15,000.
4. Intercontinental Hotel
- Waiting to hear back from the catering manager. They have smaller rooms that could fit our party.
