I am kinda new to all these acronyms and definitions... honestly, it's all gibberish to me. But hopefully it will become a second language to me! 

Can you ladies help me figure out what my DPO is?

My first day of my last period was 12/12/12 <--- wow just noticed that! kinda cool! My period usually lasts about 3-5 days. My cycle usually starts up again on or before 28 days...

DPO is Days Past Ovulation.......you wont' know an exact day to start that till you know about what day you ovulated.

Ok back to your question - if you have a 28 day cylce your expected AF had to be on the 8th January. I think you didn't take OPK's ot temped last cycle, right? This is the best way to know when your O'd. When we assume that you O' on CD 14 (for the most it's CD 14-15 with a cycle of 28 days) you are now 17 days DPO and you ovulated on the 25th December.

Further more I can highly recommend to download the App Fertility friend - it's a good way to chart your cycles.

You ladies are good! Thanks for the warm welcome back! Since my last misscarriage back in October, I didn't think I would be talking about pregnancy so soon. Kindve been able to smile again. Feels good but scary at the same time.

Anyways... accoding to my ovulation calculator, I ovulated during December 23rd through December 28th... or I guess most fertile during that time? All of this confuses me :/

Sunday, Jan 6th - took HPT and it was positive.

Tuesday, Jan 8th - appt with OBGYN and my hcg levels came back at 96

Thursday, Jan 10th - tested again, and now my levels are at 415

I guess my biggest question is... what do ya'll think about my levels and it quadrupling within 48hrs?

Yay Jaryce!  Congrats on your BFP!! I would say that those numbers look great - eso since they went up so much!  The rapid in crease could just be one, strong, healthy bean or could be more than one.  If your numbers keep rising quickly (esp if they keep going at the rate they are now) your dr. could theorically see something as early as Monday on an u/s.  So glad you are feeling better after m/c and I will be praying that this one is a sticky bean(s)!!

Ditto all the other ladies. Only way to verify actual Ovulation day to determain your DPO is through temping &/or OPK's.
