Hi Everyone.....

We live in the Bay Area, so I don't know why I am finding it hard to figure out where to take our e-pix.  Can you guys SMY ideas, and photo's and help suggest local locations that are close together(ish)

We have 2 hours I believe.

Thanks so much !!

The Legion of Honor would be a pretty place.  Also, a lot of people do their e-pics around the different piers and then all of the buildings nearby that have interesting architecture.  Some also do Golden Gate Park since there are so many different areas to it.  Good luck!

Steff, what type of background are you going for?  Hip and urban or outdoorsy and natural setting?

I could give you a ton in the city since I'm from there.

Across the bay though? no so much.

We hardly ever go to the city (I know it's a shame) so I feel like it's not us.  I am still open to the idea. I know everyone does the beach with the bridge in the backround and that's really nice but my photographer says it's sooooo windy....

In San Francisco, here are some favorite places to shoot engagement pics:

- Sutro Baths near Lands End/Cliff House - great scenery here, and you can get the golden gate bridge in the background if you follow the trail

- Palace of Fine Arts (newly renovated) and the Legion of Honor

- Fort Point - Basically the base of the golden gate bridge - it can get super windy here, but there is some awesome lighting, and really neat brickwork. Highly recommend this place! (Not just because I had some of my own wedding pictures taken here!)

-Ferry Building (esp during farmer's market) - lots of nice stuff to shoot around there

-Baker Beach or China Beach

-Ocean Beach (but as someone mentioned up there - can be pretty windy!)

-Filoli Gardens - a little bit south, but when the stuff is in bloom, everything looks great here.

Speaking of engagement photos, I'm currently offering a special right now for PW readers. Email me for more information!
