I have PCOS, like 60 follicles in each ovary.
So I started my injections on Thursday (day 3) Gonal-F 75iu. My bloodwork was normal range estrogen 47. I went in for blood work yesterday (day 6) and my estrogen jumped to 351. They told me to cut my injectable dosage down to 37.5 and come in today for ultrasound. Went in today and there are NO dominant follicles! I am SO upset, so essentially all the little follicles are slightly growing (I guess thats what this means).

Does anyone really know what this means? Has anyone had this? Will just a few of the follicles grow?

=(

They just called and my estrogen level was 111 so it's back up to 75iu tonight and tomorrow. I'm feeling pretty down.
Hope one of the girls can share some advise. :)
Thanks Tovaqt

Artlvr: I got no advice-I'm so sorry. When do you go back for another u/s? Did you try PMing Michelle?? Ugh. FX that the last two days have brought lots of growth and a dominant follicle (or two). Keep us posted....

Also, have you tried any boards on babycenter? Some of the women on there aren't the friendliest but they have a huge wealth of information and boards specifically geared toward this... Just promise that you won't leave us for them!

I'm sorry you're going through this, artlvr.  It can't be easy.  Yes, I do have experience with injectibles, though not Gonal-F.  I did Follistim.  But unfortunately, I don't have PCOS so I don't have any insight to give you about follicles not growing, etc.  I know that there is another web site specifically for PCOS called www.soulcysters.com.  You might be able to find good information on that site about what you are going through.  I wish I had more knowledge to give you but I don't. :(  I do hope they find the right combination of whatever it is you need to get those follicles growing!!

Thanks. I'm going to check that out. Went back to the doctor again today blood work and ultrasound. No follicle growth. I'm so upset. I'm trying not to be but it's hard. My RE said he wants to see what my blood work is today and either keep me on the gonal-f or he might switch me to a new injectable. 1 of my cousins had her baby the other is due next week. It's hard, we all started trying at the same time but they got pregnant right away and i still don't even have a follicle growing :( I'm just so upset!
