We were married at Manor House at Commonwealth in Horsham. It was gorgeous!

@ fromcoldtofire...i went to their site and it looks really beautiful. but they do not post their prices. this makes me thinkt that it is pretty expensive. i have a 30k budget but would like to stay about 11k for venue & food for about 85ppl. do you mind sharing your budget details for this venue?

Not a problem. It is an all-inclusive, which was great! We were married on a Friday night, which meant it was about $10 a person cheaper (maybe more). Depending on the meal choice, the PP ran $114-122 (the vegetarian and chicken dishes were cheaper than the crab cakes). If you're interested in having your ceremony there (soooo gorgeous!) it's an extra $4 PP.

The cost included:

  • personal wedding coordinator
  • valets for guest parking
  • use of bridal suite
  • choice of six unlimited butlered hors d'oeuvres and fruit/pate/cheese station during cocktail hour
  • five hour top shelf open bar
  • signature cocktail
  • four course sit down dinner (including plated dessert in addition to cake)
  • cake from your choice of bakery
  • linens, tables, flatware, table numbers
  • servers and bartenders
  • cake cutting
  • use of the entire grounds (there's obviously only one wedding held there a day)

Our wedding ended up costing somewhere around 35-38k (not including rings or HM), and it was for 140 people. I want to say that the venue, for 140 people, was around 17-18K. You're looking at half the number, so I think you can probably get close to 11K.

Let me know if you have any other questions, about venues or vendors!
