highly disturbing...

I'm on the verge of ordering my invitations (and the sale ends on the 21st) I have all of the wording worked up nicely, but I am slightly hesitant about the directions I've written. I copied & pasted them from the location's website, but mapquest gives an entirely different route- and it seems easier (but you know how mapquest can be!!)

I figured my best course of action would be to e-mail the guy who runs the wedding site and see if they could tell me what would be the smoothest, easiest route. E-mail sent. I also called & left a message later in the day for good measure. No call back. No returned e-mail. I wasnt worried until I went on their website and realized it didn't exist anymore. My email also got kicked back to me as the e-mail address for them is no longer valid.

Now... if you were me... would you be just a little bit disturbed? I'm trying not to worry but I'm hesitant to buy the invites until I know:
1. That the location is still in existance.
2. The best way to GET there and
3. That I can get a returned call/ e-mail/ some sort of correspondence.

We're supposed to get our e-pics done there soon too. This is just making me all anxious and bothered!! :(

wow! I would be really worried too. Have you thought about driving there and checking it out? (I don't know if you're near enough to do that but it would be worth the trip!)

I live about 40 minutes away. Not bad, but a bit of a drive. It's just one of those things I don't WANT to do when I know I could be doing anything else (and plus with a housewarming party this weekend, dragging FI to Men's Warehouse on Sunday, visiting the caterer, the DJ- ahhhh!)

I suppose going up there might be what we have to do. Kind of map it out ourselves & see what is the best way.

is this place established with a history? if so, I wouldn't panic

My site and email were down for 24 hours a few weeks back because my domain registration expired and the notification went to an old email addy. So accidents can happen.

I would call a third time, if you can't drive by, and tell them that you are ultra concerned because of the site and email- it might just be that he is playing catch-up on phone calls

I would be worried too. If one more phone call doesn't work, I would make the drive a priority. It is worth the peace of mind.

I would be annoyed...you're feelings are valid :)

First, is there anyone else at the location that could help you with this particular question?...escpecially because its time-sensitive.

Also, try google. They have an excellent mapping program. You can even change it to sattelite to see an arial image of the mapped area.
