Hi everyone! Nice to meet all of you. 

My name is Marlissa and I am so honored to be a PW hostess and a part of the PW family.

I have been a PW member since February 2010

My wedding date was August 14, 2010 

My wedding style/theme was School themed with bright, cheery and fun aspects.  With colors like Hot Pink and Orange how could it not be.  LOL!!!

Right now, I am working on Now that my wedding is over, organizing my photos so that I can have DH make books for the family.  He's a printer.   Also awaiting my video to arrive.  I can't wait to see how it turned out, but I will just have to be patient.  Still throwing around the idea of doing a Trash the Dress session.  I just need more money.  The wedding depleted our savings.  I'm sure I'll eventually get it done.

My favorite thing about PW are the ladies!  PW would not be what it is today without the fabulous women we have on this site.  I love how it is kept a positive community and everyone is encourage to share their ideas and opinions.  My wedding would not have been as a success as it was if it hadn't been for PW.  I got so many ideas from here.

My best PW skill is I would have to say that my "Google Search" skillz are pretty good.  I am obsessed with finding that special pair of shoes or bridal shower dress.  Or even if you've seen a picture of a dress, but don't know the designer.  I'll try and find it. I love love love those searches!!!  I also love offering my help and advice to the bride in need or a bride that is at her wits end.  I hope to make her day a little better. 

Some PW groups that I love are It was "August 2010 Brides" but since we are all married, it's not as active :(  "Something Borrowed", "Love Those Shoes" "glee" and "Do It Yourself Weddings". :) :)  Also, this group is pretty darn fabulous! :)

One PW tip that I have for newbies is To borrow from the other ladies, get out there and post! Don't be shy! We love to see new faces.  Toast!  Friend request!  Comment on Bios!  Bio Stalk!   Share your ideas!!  Show off your DIY's and purchases!!!  Get involved!!!  And above all, Be Positive!
