I'm buying these Nina's to wear for my reception, and I want to put Hot Fix crystals along the back that spell "JD {heart}'s Nikki". Do you think the crystal pen will melt the heel?  I don't want to ruin them, they're costing me $68!!!

try it on the bottom first to check. Are they foam? It might melt if it's foam.

I just got a hotfix gun last week and can't wait to use it... Unfortunately I don't know how it would be on your shoes, but I agree with ajfisher: try it on the bottom to see how it behaves...

P.S. yes, I think they're kind of like foam. I've only ever worn them once, and it wasn't for very long so I can't exactly remember.
