Anyone have any good ideas for a nice hotel room for a boudoir session in the San Jose, Pleasanton or San Francisco areas? Something that has nice decor but won't break the bank. Thanks for any suggestions!

Are you looking for old school/classic or modern?

I think any hotel is perfectly fine.  The main focus is going to be you, but what is your price range? There are sooooo many you can choose from.

I honestly did mine at the Mariott and you probably wouldn't be able to tell.

The first hotel that came to mind is Sir Francis Drake.

If you can schedule it on an off-day, I think that would also help you out. :)

Palace Hotel is gorgeous.

Intercontinental Hotel (either the Mark Hopkins or the new one on Howard) would be good options. The one on Howard is on the more modern side of things.

Otherwise...most hotels are decent, I'd venture.  From pics, the Grand Hyatt also looks good.

Thank you for your suggestions! I'll check them out. I was hoping to spend about $100-$150ish and I just don't want crazy colored decor in the background.

Tips:

Get the deluxe room if you can swing it because it's a lot more space and try to book mid-week since the rates are generally more flexible.
