FI and I first met in college.  When I started college I can tell you that I was not into dating a white boy, lol.  So when he expressed interest in college, I didn't give him the time of day.  Fast forward a few years and he finds me on myspace and I decide to email him back b/c it is so nice to talk to someone you went to college with.  You have something in common, you know!  So we message for a while and finally decide to meet up.  Our first date we went to the movies where Sean actually falls asleep, lol.  We continue to hang out but I didn't really see him as a boyfriend or someone I would be interested in to date.  But when I finally kissed him I knew he was the one!  Best kisser and the softest lips ever!  Now I get to marry my soulmate in one month.

We tell people through "friends" but in reality it was on this asian social networking site! LOL

Matt and I met the beginning of my Junior year in college.  Our mutual friend was throwing welcome back to school party and I went with my little sister.  Our friend was planning on hooking me up with one of his buddies from back home (not Matt) but when I saw Matt walk in the door I was intrigued.  Next thing I knew he was talking to my sister about me and  then asked for my number.  I didn't think he would call, but that next day he did and he asked me out on a date... the rest was history!  When we get married we'll have been together for 6 amazing years!! 

He was a client of mine...came in to solve a problem...that was MY fault...

I denied everything & sent him on his merry way.  As soon as he got back into his office, he emailed me...flirting with me. I was blown away.  We finally went out on a date & I was in love.

I met him at a little get together. I can't say that i was interested when i met him but about 4 days later it was a different story!

The short version is that we met salsa daning = )

The long version-my college roomie heard about a latin place that gives free salsa lessons every Saturday before the club opens up. She had to BEG me to go. A white girl who had never listened to spanish music in her life has a fear of salsa dancing ; ) I finally decided to go-not because she wanted me to but because I had a brand new pair of high heels that I had been dying to wear and this was an excuse to show them off. After we got there I LOVED the dancing. Soon we were in salsa groups on campus and didn't miss a Saturday at our favorite salsa spot. My sister/roomie and I met Rafael and a few of his friends one week and started hanging out with all of them both at and outside of the salsa scene. So we were friends for a pretty good while before he asked me out and honestly I was kind of shocked. I had always thought of him as a friend but I figured-we get along so well anyways, might as well give it a shot. so I told him that those heels changed my life = )

Cute strories...My FH and I met our junior year of high school in English. I hated our teacher and would always get in arguments with that man then he would send me out into the hallway by myself and I would miss class. My FH would sneak work for me. At the time I had a boyfriend but FH and I were friends. Well to make a very long story short I caught my ex-bf cheating and FH and I started dating.

My FI and I met at work. We are both software engineers. I was actually living with a bf at that time, he was a big jerk but I did not know how to break up with him. Then after meeting my-now-FI, I knew how to do so and it was the best thing to do coz I was not happy. Shortly after I broke up with that jerk, I started dating FI. =) It's not the ideal situation and the most romantic story, but hey it works.

Well  DH and I aren't really an Interracial "couple"  .... unless a girl of French Heritage marrying a man of Italian/Ukranian heritage counts :)

But my children are from my first marriage which was an interracial marriage .... so we are an "interracial family"  :)

DH and I met at work ...we used to work together .... our children get along great and something that cracks all of us up is when all 7 of us are out at like a restaurant and people stare at us and we can all tell they are trying to figure us out .... Ive been asked if Im Spanish, Mexican  or Puerto Rican a million times in my life , DH looks Italian , his daughter is dark haired , his son is blonde haired and blue eyed , and then there's my 3 caramel colored cuties ......  My stepson will say to me "The people at that table are trying to figure us out ...I can tell ...they're staring"   ..... we think its funny :)

we met on match!  haha, kaytana - we tell some of our old-school relatives we met through friends too. 

we met online right before i went on vacation to miami, had one conversation before i left, and he actually called me while i was away.  he was very clever!  after i got back i was really sick and i remember talking to him on the phone every day.  when we finally met a week later, i was so nervous since i really wanted to like this guy and hoped i wouldn't get disappointed with the real-life version.  i wasn't!  we've been (almost) inseparable since!
