How did you know your dress was the one?

I knew when I couldn't stop thinking about it and imagining myself in it walking down the aisle.

My story as to how I knew my dress was the dress, is a bit of a long story.

When FI asked me to marry him he didn't have a ring.  I didn't end up getting a ring for about 5 months.  I had my dress picked out and paid for within 2 months.  Dress actually picked out and the deposit put on it within 10 days. 

When I was trying on dresses, I knew the dress I ended up buying was the one I liked most. After leaving the bridal salon, my BFF and I went to the jewelers.  I was looking at engagement rings and when I put my hand out to look at the ring from a distance, it was my dress that I saw in my mind.  I started to cry and knew that my dress was my dress. 

I always knew exactly what kind of dress I wanted to get married in - and funny enough it didn't change at all. I went to try on dresses and looked for the dress I had in my mind. It was the first one I tried on. I tried on some others just to say that I did, but I knew what I wanted and I bought the first one I found!

I had no ideal what I wanted, the only thing I knew it had to be different. After FI starting talking about blue I decided to do more blue in the wedding seen the dress and just knew I had to have it. I have pictures of my dress on my phone and on my computer. I just love her, I really can't wait to put her on and see FI's reaction.

It was very hard! I was torn between two dresses. Eventually I had to close my eyes and Imagine all those heads turning around to look at me walking down the aisle. And I had to 'feel' which dress I would be more confident and attractive in. 

I knew my dress was the one when I saw her on the hanger. Wow. Instant love.

Simple answer for me. It wasn't white and it fit me well. No ahh hah! moment. No tears, just happiness about finding it and for so cheap. Am I heartless?, lol.

I still don't know! I've narrowed it down to the 3 in my bio, but I'm now waiting until my mom flies over from England at the end of September to try them on again and get her opinion!

She was everything I DID NOT want! Bling, halter & over budget! However when I put her on, simply on a lark- she just was! I felt like a bride! I felt like this was the dress a señorita would become a señora in & then my mom cried. It was a done deal! I gave up my Coach Bag reward for earning my national cert & used that $ on her. No regrets whatsoever!

I knew the moment I saw it. There was a video on YouTube of the fashion show I had to have it. I ordered it online sight unseen and loved it more in person. I can't wait to wear it.
