I am sure people won't eat them... I just worry that FI would... Ivy League educated, but that man will put ANYTHING into his mouth...so stupid!

Hm, ok that's 2 for 2...I have to make sure I label them or else I'll be back with a post labeled "how my guests ate the soap favors".

I've had way too much caffeine if I can't stop laughing.

Cute favors!

You and I have similar planning situations - I've been planning for about 10 months now and I have 10 more months to go... so I've already made a lot of decisions and gotten a lot of stuff done.  Everyone keeps offering to help - but I've got most of it handled (TG4PW = Thank God for Project Wedding!).

lol sarah and jackie you make me laugh...haha

so is she just backseat "helping"?  just saying 'oh you should do this' and not really wanting to do the tasks to help?  just putting her 2 cents in? ugh that is just silly.  but if that is the case, at least she won't really do anything about it, she's just wanting to give you her opinion.  if not.... do what betsi and jharkins said. I think she's just offering to help because she overheard my mom and I talking about how I've pretty much checked everything off my list, with no one's help. Then again, she's just a busy body who likes to be in everyone's business. This is the same person who offered to give me her wedding dress even though it was big and fluffy (not good for my 4'10' height)....I could be on here forever just talking about her!

But we've grown to like her after 10 years :-)

idea: Im not really a fan of coasters but I had a similar issue w/ FI's mom- I compromised with her and said that while it didn't really go with the WEDDING theme, it would be a cute way to remember the rehearsal dinner, and so we are using the little candles she wanted there for the bridal party/family to keep (I think secretly she wanted to have one, maybe your FSIL is hoping to keep it as a momento she likes! lol!)
