How do I do this?!

I know she used 4 curtain panels & 2 curtain rods.  Are there 2 on each rod?  I think so but doesn't it look like the bottom of the panels that are attached to the ceiling rod are attached to the wall rod also?  I haven't seen curtain panels with openings on both the top & bottom, have you?  Or are all 4 panels possibly on the ceiling rod (and just super long) & then somehow connected to the wall rod too.  Please help me figure out how to achieve this look, TIA :)

I know she used photo 3116713-1

My guess is that she sewed another rod pocket to be able to put the 2 rods through.  Pretty simple stitch, straight across the fabric twice about 2 inches apart. :)  Do you sew?  Or maybe your mom does and could help?

I can sew a button that's about it, my mom is even worse ;)  I may see what it looks like to "hide" the ceiling panels excess behind the wall rod.  Hopefully it will stay draped?!  If not, Cary may be able to do it for me!

Or you could take it to a Tailor and ask them to sew it for you, I think it would be fairly cheap!!! :)

True...but Cary is free LOL!!  And she majored in sewing in college...seriously, back then at a small Eastern Colorado college you could major in it!!  Plus she wants me to sell a bunch of lenses on Ebay or CL for her since she doesn't know how & she will "owe" me for it!!

Couldn't you just drape the fabric over the second rod?  It shouldn't move unless something or someone pulls on your curtains.

Yes, I am going to try that first.  The room barely ever gets used, I think that that will be fine!

I agree, I think she made another rod pocket.  I feel you on the sewing!  I've never done great with the projects I've attempted, but I'm considering buying a sewing machine.  My mom would laugh at me, but I'm convinced it will be handy with children and DIY projects.

PS. isn't your husband against drywall holes?  How will he feel about ceiling holes?  Or just have it done one day while he's away!  haha

Ha ha...yes he is against holes of all kinds LOL!  BUT he put unbelievably gigantic holes in the ceiling of the garage to hold the top of his Jeep so he can suck it ;)

so he can suck it ;) oh mel, you kill me!

I just saw this on pinterest and thought you should be able to add these pockets to a drap/fabric with so iron on adhesive if you want to avoid the sewing machine.

so he can suck photo 3117897-1
