I thought we could have a catch up as there are so many new BFP and we can learn what to expect from you mummy's to be that are further along.

6weeks 6 days

Tiredness has hit but not too bad I am also glad I am not working so can plod along at my own rate.

Couple of waves of MS but nothing to worry me.

Still spotting each day but think getting less and brown, no clots or red for 10 days.

My sight has altered!! I have had glasses for my 40th Bday and hardly ever wear them but am finding I need them more and more.

THE WORST SYMPTOM YET is nipple pain. I had this twice over the weekend my nipples went white then blue and back to red, the pain feels like burning and brings tears to my eyes. I have had this before maybe 2-3 times a year max before AF and last 10 mins, these lasted 45 -60 mins and I didn't know what to do with myself. The only thing that helped was heating my wheat bag up and holding to me. I think its vasospasm caused by Raynaud's and could recur during pregnancy and breast feeding owwwww!!! I will definatley tell midwife when I see her.

So how are you? H x

Hello FarmBride!!!

I will be 12weeks tomorrow!!! :)  I'm so excited!  DH and I have our 12 week appt today and are hoping to hear the heartbeat.  If everything goes as planned and everything looks good we're going to post on FB tonight!

My m/s was way better last week but then this weekend I started feeling sick again and now i'm dealing with a sinus infection or a cold...DH has it too.  Thank goodness I got my flu shot a month ago!  But it's pretty miserable.  My throat hurts and teh drainage doesn't help with my tummy.

The m/s is better but the fatigue is still there...I notice that when i'm alert it way better than at 8 weeks but I still bite it pretty hard when i'm tired and try to take a nap everyday during my lunch break.

The biggest thing i'm seeing a problem with is motivation.  My house is a mess right now.  DH and I decided that after our appt this afternoon we need to dust our bedroom, change the sheets, and clean the kitchen...I think we're both thinking if we clean that some how that will make our sickness go away...lol.  But I know we're sick from all the rain we got over the weekend and the cool fronts.  I'm also starting to feel some slight tugs in my abdomen along with some itching along my stomach!  So i'm hoping that means i'm shifting and will slighty pop soon!

I hope everyone is doing well!!!  I have to say that I'm very excited about getting closer to the 2nd trimester.  I'm really hoping that I get some more energy (i'm ready to rearrange my house and get it organized like everyone talks about during the 2nd tri) and i'm hoping to not be a bump on a log!  Also i'm hoping for more of a bump, i'm super excited about finding out the gender, and i'm more excited about not having to keep it a big secret anymore!

Also I think i'm most excited that almost all of us will be in our 2nd trimester during all of the holidays which will be nice for us and our families! :)

We're going on a cruise the day after christmas thru new years...we're going with my parents (it was their christmas present to us) but we're using it as a babymoon too!!!

Good morning, ladies!

9 weeks tomorrow! I just want to hit second trimester soo bad...first tri has been very hard on me and I feel like I've been in this stage forever. Although I went through a couple of really bad weeks of m/s, I've finally figured out how to beat it. If I take half a pill of Unisom a night, I'll feel pretty ok the next day. I can finally eat a meal now, although not a full one...so excited about that :)

That seems to be my only complaint, as far as symptoms go. Everything else seems so mild to me when compared to the nausea. I think the one weird thing I've noticed is I haven't had an increased need to pee. I know that's a popular symptom but I had only gone once during work yesterday and I'm drinking/eating plenty!

I've also noticed that I'm getting a teeny tiny bump. I can't suck it in and it's somewhat hard. Dh gave me a light belly rub last night and he noticed it, too. My jeans are pretty uncomfortable when I'm sitting down so I've started using the elastic band trick. It's really helped! Maybe I'll be an early popper??

Also, my MIL is flying in tomorrow so she'll get the good news at dinner :) I can't wait to see her reaction (Which will be crying. She always cries, lol) and hope to get it on tape.

And ditto, Julia on being in our second tri for the holidays!! I'm so very thankful I'll be further away from the crappy feelings (hopefully) and actually be able to enjoy the festivities! I can't imagine how crappy Christmas would be if it was spent between the couch & bathroom :(

Hello ladies!

Today I'm 7weeks 4days

Fatigue and nausea still on full throttle :( but had my U/S yesterday so will try and post a piccie of that now!

Hope you feel better soon Jewel. Look after yourself - screw the housework until you're feeling better!

Hazel, glad you're OK. The nip pain doesn't sound fun. My (ever expanding) boobies have been very itchy of late but nothing too bad.

Karen - I totally sympathise with the m/s. I'd gladly take the other symptoms if it meant I didn't feel sick constantly!

Good luck telling the MIL. We are hoping to tell my mum tonight :)

6 weeks and 4 days.

And I feel fine!  I haven't had any m/s and I'm not really anymore tired than I normally am.  The only thing different is I start to get a little queasy if I don't eat as soon as I realize I'm hungry and I wake up in the morning starving.  That's about it.
