I'll be 12 weeks on Friday! How did that even happen? I'm still tired, but feeling much more able to get things done. I did some serious decluttering in the kitchen yesterday, and it felt really good to be cleaning up after weeks of being too tired and busy to even think about it. I get stressed when the house is really messy.

I've also been on a new recipe kick. I've always been a bit of a susie homemaker, so I'm glad I feel good enough to do the things I enjoy again. The bellies of my family are glad, too. lol I've learned that I can't satisfy my sweet tooth as much as I could before getting preggo. Now I get headaches if I eat too much. Boo! I made this amazing blondie, and I couldn't pig out.

Now I'm just waiting for the holidays to begin. This is seriously my favorite time of year. I live for Nov and Dec. To me, putting up the Christmas tree is ok anytime after Halloween. lol

I'm 16w1d and feeling pretty good.  Definitely showing and rockin' my maternity pants!  The 2nd trimester has been great so far, the m/s has mostly subsided, and I started feeling the baby move.  It really feels like bubbles.  I'm still tired all the time though.  My new favorite pastime is napping.

I love this thread. I hope you guys start to get better soon (nausea, colds and all!)

I am 12w2d today. I have an appt with the maternal fetal specialist tomorrow for an u/s. They will be checking for things like down syndrome indicators(nuchal scan), encepholy (sp?), etc. and to see how I am progressing.
Yesterday was my birthday and DH and I finally DTD! TMI, I know, but it has been about 2 months since the last time. It was awesome. Happy Birthday to me! ;)
I now have a raging case of motion sickness. Planes, subways, cars. everything :(
Also, even though I had no ms before I am getting queasy if I don't eat as soon as I'm hungry or eat too much and I actually wake up at night with hunger pangs. crazy...
DH is on his way to Nashville right now to look at some houses and hopefully sign a lease while I stay here to go to my appt, keep packing the house up and show the house to prospective renters.
We are planning on making our FB announcement on Monday or Tuesday. :)

Yay Jady! I'm not the only one DTD now. LOL Happy belated birthday, too! I've got one coming up soon...I so hate bdays now. I started referring to it as the anniversary of my 29th. People seem to enjoy that, and nobody asks how old I actually am anymore. :)

So, when is the big move? Nashville would be so much fun! I love the drive down south. We actually drove all the way to FL a couple years ago. It stopped being fun when we hit Georgia. The scenery wasn't good, and I made the mistake of trying boiled peanuts. lol Who thought that was a good idea?!

Hahahaha, I swear we both felt like we had forgotten how to do it but it all kicked in about 3.2 seconds into it :) I slept better last night than I have this entire pregnancy.
Thank you! Anniversary of my 29th? Love it! Totally stealing that from you ;)
When is your birthday?
I made the drive from Ft Lauderdale to NY years ago. never again. The worst part is getting out of Florida. Most other areas you go through 2 -3 states in the time it takes to get out of FL. Boiled peanuts are horrible. A lot of people in the south love them and since I love peanuts I made the mistake of trying one when I first moved to FL and saw them. Ugh,disgusting. My BIL loves them and DH likes them every so often.
Depending on the move in date we can secure it will be the last week of this month or first week of November. I am hoping for this month. I happen to have a client in Chattanooga the first week of Nov and if we move in Oct I can drive to it from Nashville instead of flying.
If I can ignore all of the crap we still have left to do I am getting excited about this move. I am a city girl so the idea of TN scared me at first but I have heard nothing but good things about Nashville. New baby, new city, what next?!?! :)

You thought you'd forgotten how to do it...too funny! I've been trying to tell y'all that being preggo actually makes it better. It's weird but true.

My bday is Nov 6th. The only good part is that it's the only time I can get my mom to make me fried chicken. It is the best thing on the planet. :)

We didn't go all the way through FL, just to WDW. My favorite place! I'm such a big kid. If it didn't cost a bajillion dollars I would go 4 times a year. lol GA was the only snoozefest take forever state. It didn't help that I was sick from those stupid peanuts.

So, you get to spend Christmas in TN! The mountains looks so beautiful in the winter. I'm big on seasons, so I could never live anywhere that didn't have them. We've been talking about moving to the carolinas just to have more scenery, and maybe milder seasons. IN is just not pretty. Unless you like flat unchanging land. I've never lived in the city at all, and I can't imagine myself there. I took the test on findyourspot.com, and my ideal place to live is Mt Airy, NC...the birthplace of Andy Griffith. lol It's actually the town that the show is based on. So...clearly I'm a small town girl. :)

Congrats on DTD, Jady!! :) We got the green light from my midwife but I'm just too queasy to do it. Dh keeps trying to make his move but I just give him a look like, 'if you touch me, I'll barf on you' lol. I'll have to make the effort soon. Poor guy is in agony...

And Julie, fried chicken sounds AMAZING!! Omg I want some now! *drooling*

PS. I just tried findyourspot.com just for sh*ts and giggles and my #1 spot is Seattle...which is where I live. Guess I love it here! lol

It's nice to know you're right where you should be! I was just watching a Man vs Food in Seattle...I want to come eat there! I torture myself with food tv far too often. I now officially want to travel to every major city just to eat. Maybe that will be my retirement plan. lol

I'm either eight weeks or seven weeks and four days depending on which doctor you talk to. I feel like horrible. I was in the ER over the weekend. Ended up being a waste of time and solved nothing. So I went back in yesterday to an actual OB doctor. Found out I have hyperemesis again with this pregnancy. So I was sent down for IV fluids because I was beyond dehydrated. He is switching the kind of Zofran I am on in the hope to find a good combineation for me. So I hopefully do not end up in the hospital again like I was with daughter. Today I feel better but not a hundred percent. I caught the cold that has been going around. Have my fingers crossed that I don't loose anymore weight. I thought I was doing good and putting on a little weight but when we went in yesterday I had lost seven pounds. On Monday we meet our midwife and have our first appointment. We're really excited to go.
