How long did it take for you to concieve?

Just curious on this one. I always wonder how it will be for me when my Hubby and I begin TTC..

13 long months!

I can't be for certain but I think it was our first try.  We went on vacation to Mexico and that seems to be a big help with a lot of couples, a vacation that is! ;)

First try for us too. We both expected it to take longer.

INSTANTLY! First try- I was shocked!!!

for the gals that got preggo on the first try. did u know you were ovulating? like did you guys chart and say "i'm ovulating lets go for it!"? or just did the deed without any plan?

We were married April 4th, pregnant by the end of April!! Didn't take long :)

I definitely know that some people struggle, and we haven't really tried to make it happen, but we are not completely preventing it either. Nothing has happened yet, but sometimes i get that fear like "oh my, what if we can't even conceive." lol I know I shouldn't think that way but it happens. I just wanted to hear others responses just to keep me positive.... :)

We conceived the 4th month.

@wmforever, for the first 3 months, we just went with it, nothing methodical about it.  The 4th try, I stepped it up and tried charting with an OPK and we concevied that try.

I went off the pill in June and conceived in July! We used the "every other day" approach and a few days in a row just for fun ;)
