My first time? There was lots of foreplay and my partner was around average size wise, so it was easy.

My first time with Wasband? OW. He's a magnum man (if you catch my drift) and even with a bit of booze, lots of foreplay and lube it was still a bit painful. I got used to him after a while, but if we abstained for any period of time, back to square one.

If your FI is a larger guy, add patience to the list.

Hey lilmissangel, I'm with you. Me and FH are waiting till our wedding night and we are both virgins which is kinda why I joined this group. I'm kinda nervous about the pain too, however, I've heard the trick is lots of foreplay cuz that lubes ya up the natural way, and then relax, when your not as tight, it wont hurt as much. In the end, I think the best thing to remember is, your husband loves you and does not want to hurt you, so if your worried talk to him about it. Thats what I did with FH and he told me that if anything he does hurts me too much, I should tell him and we'll stop and slow down a bit. :) In the end, you and your man's love, trust, and respect for eachother should prevent anything painful from happening. :)

Also, average is classified as about 6 in. long and 1.5 in. wide for a caucasion man, I dont know about any other races, lol

I think it just depends on the girl. Every time in sex ed class my teacher said, "If you are a woman who is active in sports etc. then it could be torn already and you don't know" I was like 'psssh... riiiight.' But apparently, that is the case! The first time I had sex I was SO nervous, like about to throw up nervous. We did a lot of foreplay beforehand, so when it came time, it went in and I was like "what? ...did that just happen? I didn't feel anything!" It was awesome. The next morning it was a tiny bit sore, but not enough to be uncomfortable. My tummy also hurt a little because I bled a little bit, but I took an ibuprofen, drank water, and put a heating pad on my belly and was fine (I sound a little overdramatic lol. It literally just felt like slight period cramps the morning after). The worst part about your first time is the next day. He had to bring me home, and after he drove away I cried! I hated being away from him, I literally felt like he deserted me and wasn't coming back! Thank god he did, lol.

Man! I must have had a weird experience because although it did hurt a little bit at the actual time, I don't remember having any pain the next day...
