I was on e-harmony right at a month...thing is, I actually started to chicken out and called and was going to cancel my membership but they gave me 3 more months at no charge...turns out i didn't need them :-)

I bought a 3 month membership and found FI the next week (he was the same way as well lol)

I bought a 6 month membership, briefly dated 2 guys before I met my husband, and was off the site within 3 weeks hahaha. I still say it was the best $50 I ever spent!

My husband was on the site years ago, met a girl and dated her for 2 years, they broke up, was back on for about a month, then found me! :)

I had been off and on a few sites for about three years actually.  I tried Match and eHarmony.  Dated a few guys here and there.  Lots of first dates that ended there for various reasons (mine and theirs).  Then gave Yahoo a very reluctant try.  It was going to be my last!!  A couple of weeks later, FI & I started talking, met three weeks after talking and here we are going on 3 years and planning a wedding.  :-)

I wasn't actually "online dating" per se, but we frequented the same chat room, and it kind of went from there. We dated long distance for about a year.

About 9 months. Stared at eHarmony for 3 months, followed by chemistry for 3 months, followed by match.com. I was on match.com for 2 months before I met DH.

I had been on several sites, had met a few people, but couldn't afford to continue.  Found a free online site and Richard was the first person I met from this site. We went to a concert and picnic at the Botanical Gardens and then talked at Denny's for 6 hours over dessert and coffee.  We have been together ever since.
