How many days a week do your workout?

How many days a week do your workout? And what is your typical OR ideal routine?


Right now, I work out Monday - Thursday.

  • Monday - Spin in the PM
  • Tuesday - Pure Barre in the PM (ballet-type resistance fitness)
  • Wednesday - Spin in the AM and also Pure Barre in the PM
  • Thursday - Pure Barre or Pilates in the PM

BUT by Sunday night I feel disgusting! I may start doing a spin class on Saturday or Sunday morning just to sweat out the wine and poor diet I may have on Friday/Saturday nights.

LUCKILY daylight saving is this Sunday, so perhaps Friday will turn into a quick run before I get ready to out for the evening (or stay in).

I don't really have a routine that I stick to. I have an elliptical and treadmill at my apartment that I try to alternate between. I also try to mix in pilates and arm workouts. I generally try to workout 4 to 5 times a week. I feel bad when I skip working out but sometimes my schedule is just too busy to allow me to do it.

I work out about5-6 days a week. This all depends on how busy i am and what is going on in my life. The work outs generally range between cardio, stregnth training, Circuit training and high intense work out classes. I try to schedule a work out in at the very least 3 times a week though.

I do yoga twice a week and try to make it to the gym at least 2-3 times.  At the gym I do free weights and various cardio...I'd really like to get into a spin class though...

I try to make it at least 4 days a week, I usually start with a warm up on cardio to get the heart rate going and then I work with weights for about 40 mins. one of those days is usually all cardio or I try to find a class at the gym that I can make & yoga on fridays.

I've just started to get it in gear for swimsuit season so I'm working out 5 days a week.  Here's what I aim for--sometimes I deviate from this though.

Mon: Cardio DVD

Tues: Run/walk interval training, legs, back, biceps

Wed: Cardio DVD

Thur: Run/walk interval training, shoulder, chest, triceps

Fri: Cardio DVD

I try to switch up the dvd every week or go to a spinning class instead.

Step Aerobics twice a week. So 80's I know but it's such a workout and I feel great after Im done!

Right now I am on my six week of INSANITY!! Yes it's going well and I follow the regimen and do it 6 days a week. I am off on Sundays. When I first got into a workout routine with tapes like billy blanks and the firm classic workout series I was doing seven days a week. Now I see the importance of giving your body one day of rest. Thus far things are going great and I am watching my body transform right before my eyes.

I do Step Aerobics once or twice a week, with a body works class with abs once a week, and then twice a week I will go with my FI to bootcamp classes with abs...We are really trying to get into a habit of sticking with exercise 5 days a week, but it gets tough! Our biggest challenge has been not to let the weekends sabotage everything!

I work out 5-6 days a week. I work at a gym, so no excuses :)

I teach spin twice a week, sometimes I'll run 3 miles, I do a lot of body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, dips, squats, lunges. THere's so many variations of those exercises that it never really gets old. I also like to dance around my apartment. I don't like to sit around too much.
