My co-worker and I were discussing this, and I told her I was very disappointed about the lack of desserts at my DH's family Thanksgiving meal last year. There was about 20 people there and I only remember seeing 2 pies-sweet potato and pumpkin,
neither of which I like. I was so shocked when many people said "oh, I don't want any dessert, I'm too full from the meal". In my family, dessert is the main star of the feast! lol. We have at least 4 different kinds to choose from, and more than
plenty to go around. So imagine my surprise and dismay when I had no dessert last year at his famiy dinner! I was like a sad little kid that went to the candy store only to find out that they were sold out of my favorite chocolate.
So now I'm curious about Thanksgiving dessert traditions-what's it like in your family? = )
