I have a photographer already but i guess i am kind of too shy to ask her.  How much gets re touched.  I am a size 12, 14(bottom) girl.  I have a few stretch marks on my hips and thighs.  Will they show up in the photo? Does she blur them out? I have a little cellulite action on my upper thighs.  I like my shape any everything just worried about a few issues.  Can anyone help? or have experience?

Every photog's editing style is different, so I would ask her. As a photographer, I personally would edit them out and make you look flawless, but some photog's are all about natural. Like I said, I would just ask her and voice your concerns :)

Ditto as4968!

It really depends on the photographer. . .some would rather not spend that kind of time on the editing, others won't put out photos that aren't 100% retouched!

Remember that a good photographer too will be capturing you in the best light possible - if I have a girl come in with cellulite, I try to avoid a lot of photos and lighting that would accentuate that, and instead I concentrate on her other assets.  Then for some of the photos where the cellulite does show, I will smooth it out in every single photo since it's fairly simple to do.

It really boils down to having a good photographer, in my opinion.  It doesn't matter if you are a size 2 or a size 20, a good photographer knows how to make you look amazing!  I would NEVER put out an unflattering image of one of my boudoir clients - and I always try to use angles and lighting to my advantage.

BTW. . .I just did a boudoir session with a gal who was very thin. . .I spent MORE time eeking cellulite out of her photos than just about anybody else. . .so please don't worry about your body type or stretch marks.  Everybody has them, embrace the things you DO love about yourself and have FUN getting those photos done! ! ! !

Thank you all for your responses.  I guess it's all up to the photog.  I think really good lighting and angling would be the best thing.  After all i don't want the photo to be too retouched.

When I went back after taking my pictures, I was able to point out things in my pictures that I wanted to change/enhance/remove alongside my photographer.  I was able to "fluff up" my bottom where it looked flat from the angle of the pic in some LOL!  You'd be surprised how much they can do with a good editing program.  And of course, some shading, lightening, and darkening of parts or whole pictures, too.

Don't be afraid to ask your photog!  Especially if you're paying a pretty penny for it!
