How often do you weigh yourself?

Okay so I hear it is not healthy to weigh yourself everyday and this was a really hard habit to break. I realized it wasn't motivating for me to weigh in every morning. I felt too pressured. I am down to 3 times a week.

How often do you weigh yourself and why does it motivate you?

I weight myself every morning, mostly out of curiosity :D but I don't let the ups and downs of the scale get to me! I have my "official" weigh-in on Mondays.

Every monring right after i go to the bathroom it is my routine. Keeps me on track and going strong! my official weigh in is from weightwatchers on thursday though

i'm the same as rae. i weigh myself every morning just out of curiosity and with the knowledge that i fluctuate up and down throughout the week, but my official weigh in is monday. it can be a good and bad thing to weigh yourself everyday - bad if you get obsessive about it and kick yourself for every fluctuation... but it is good to get to know your body and how it works.

I am the same as aswan, although I am feeling like I should cut down to a couple times a week...not sure, I'm gonna see how the next week goes! I know a lot of people at weightwatchers say they follow the plan and then only weigh in one day a week, It's interesting to see their reactions to a big loss on the scale! For me, I already know! haha

Once every few weeks, maybe... I'm not really that consistent with it. I used to NEVER weigh myself (well, except at doctor visits!), but last fall I started with once a week, and have scaled it back since then. I don't find it helps or hurts me either way, to be honest. I'm interested in building muscle, and expect to gain some weight doing this, so I'm more focused on how my clothes fit. So far, so good...

I have weighed myself every morning for over a year now... (sometimes I do forget but not very often).

Personally I like it... it shows me where I am and then tells me what I should or shouldn't have or do for the day. On days where I dont necessarily like the weight, I try to be a little more careful... days where the weight happily suprises me, I know I can splurge a little.

It can be frustrating sometimes but the only thing that is going to change that is ME... so its not really a let down for me, its more of a push through to motivate to work harder!!
