What items (if any) have you already checked off your to-do list?

What are you looking forward to most / least in planning your wedding?

i'm probably behind on my t-do list, but items i've checked off are the photographer(s), reception site, picked and asked my bridesmaids, and narrowed down ceremony sites.

i would have to say what i am looking forward to the most is making my wedding dress, shopping with my mom, food tasting and my many diy projects. :D

  As of 8/13/09- items already checked:

• Made wedding planning binder & bought custom planning bag :)
• Insured Ring
• Set wedding budget
• Purchased monograms
• Sent out "Will you be my bridesmaid cards"
• Set guest list
• Made and sent out 'Save The Date' cards
• Bought dress - paid in full
  
• Booked ceremony/reception venue - paid in full
  
• Booked wedding coordinator - paid in full
  
• Booked MUA for day of - deposit paid
  
• Booked hair stylist for day of - deposit paid
  
• Bought earrings
• Bought cake topper
• Established contact (and discount package) with hotel
• Booked engagment photos: Sept 20
  
• Booked officiant - no paid
  
• Sent all pictures to FMIL for video slide show
• Ordered invitation sample
• Wedding shoes- currently being designed by FMIL
• Booked photographer! woohoo!- deposit paid
  
• Started dance lessons
• Guest book completed
• Ordered custom koozies for OOTbags
• Made wine charms/name cards
• Reserved room block at resort
• Book room for me & Adam at KBC
• Confirmed musician & DJ
• Booked caterer

**I'm having a destination wedding, so it's a little bit of a different beast

Yay!! It's so nice to be able to talk to the girls that are also getting married at the same time!!

I have pretty much the big things (dress, photographer, ceremony/reception venue, caterer, DJ, etc) checked off the list.  Still have a few DIY projects to complete.

I'm least excited to decorate the reception site.  I'm basically working with nothing so it'll be interesting to see how it comes together.

I'm most excited for the big day in general.  Being able to share it with my family and hubby.

all i have left is my cake, invites, favors, and tuxes basically

Wow some of you are so ahead of the game.  So far I have a few ticket items...

• Ceremony & Venue on lockdown (but not paid) ~ same location
• Signed contract w/ photog ~ Go Nataly Lemus!
• Purchased and prettied up Sandals for guests
• Have BM gifts all picked out but need to finish them (DIY projects)
• Found THE DRESS
• Sent MB, MOH, Jr BM, and Flower Girl cards
• Printed "Share your Photo" cards ~ free on vista print
• Met w/ deacon at church and signed up for confirmation & communion classes
• Selected color scheme

I feel like I start projects but never finish them.  I really need to focus!

...and I'm not looking forward to doing the guest list :(

Ok so what exactly should I have absolutely checked off my list by now??? 

What are the must items that us April 2010 brides need to take care of immediately???

according to my checklist, I am ahead of the game!

The only things we have left to do is...

• food tasting (hotel wont let us do it til October :()
• address and send out save the dates (already here!)
• address and send out invitations (already here!)
• diy menu cards and table numbers (waiting to see how many we will need)
• make card box (not enough room for storage yet)
• order tuxes (January)
• set up rehearsal dinner (will do in october)
• order candy for candy buffet (will do with next paycheck!)
• send in "do not play" list to DJ
• book honeymoon (still undecided on location)
• book hair and make up lady (sending deposit in on monday)
• fill OOT boxes
• decide on ceremony readings with the priest (can't do til January)
• MOVE! (we are looking but still don't want to move and spend the money on rent until it's closer to the wedding)
• pay off all the vendors!

If there is something I'm forgetting let me know! I can't believe it's coming up so fast!

My planning has not moved forward.  Ahhhhh!  I have done nothing at all for 2 weeks.  Please someone kick me on the butt!
