Hello June brides!

How's planning coming along so far?  What big things have you alread knocked off your to-do list?

I'm in the pre-planning stage.  Waiting on my ring, but we're going ahead and starting planning while he saves up for the ring I picked out.  So far, all I've got out of the way is my dress.  I found a dress on here that a PW was selling and ordered it from her, and I love it!

We haven't decided yet if we're going to go to the mountains for a little chapel wedding with our immediate families or if we're going to have a wedding locally so a few more people can come.  Either way we're going to do a casual/rustic picnic/bbq type reception locally for friends and family to come to.

We're going to DIY most of the food and order a few things that aren't worth the hassle to make ourselves.  So far I'm planning on either ribs or bbq pork and fried chicken with a few good side dishes.

I also want to do a cookie buffet as our favors.  I've seen some of those on here and think they're so adorable!

Hi Laura, I love the cookie buffet!!!  I have lots of pics if you need some inspiration I can post for you.  I wanted to do that originally and have since moved on to canning my homemade salsa, although I think we may do a smaller candy buffet for the kids. 

I have my dress already, picked it up 2 weeks ago, shoes too, ordered flowers although when we got the estimate we were a little sticker shocked so we'll see...  I also have the DJ and photographer booked as well as our venues, catering included.  Next on the list is the cake, the hotels for OOT, limo, tuxes, and lots of DIY projects coming soon!!

Look forward to planning more with you girls along the way!!!  10 months to go!!

Hey all! You guys are making me feel like I'm behind in the game...

So far I've got my Venue and DJ booked. I'm working on finding a photographer and caterer. I've bought my dress, and I've finished numerous DIY projects including a "thank you" parasol, aisle runner, and 16 pomanders. I'm working on designing my STD's right now as well. Lots more to do, but it's slowly coming together! Time seems to be going by so fast and I'm wondering if even 10 months is enough time to pull things together!

I agree with April, I look forward to planning with everyone over the next 10 months!

Hi Everyone!

I love these groups- I can't wait to hear all about your upcoming weddings as plans get finalized!

So far, we've booked the ceremony site, reception site, Officiant, caterer, DJ, photographer, and videographer.  I haven't found the dress yet, although I've been looking!  I'm hoping to have that done in the next couple of weeks.  Also next up on the list; tuxes, begin thinking about invites, begin DIY centerpieces, and research/book honeymoon.  I feel like I'm out of town every weekend, but excues aside, I need to stop slackin' and get to work!

On the bright side, FI and I are getting engagement pics the last week in August- keep an eye out for those! :)  Happy planning everyone!

Hello Ladies, I am new to project wedding, just wanted to say hi!!

Well so far I have solitified my venue, flowers, dj, hair and makeup artists, wedding dress, bm dresses, gm tuxedos,...and more I am so excited but now I am trying to focus on wedding invitations but going through a lot of anxiety worrying if I will forget anyone...anyone else dealing with that???

I'm so bummed.............I wrote a long post and for some reason it didn't "post", then I realized I wasn't a group member  : (  boooo!

Hi to all the June brides!! 

I'm looking forward to planning with everyone............such an exciting time!! 

So far I have my dress (still needs alterations), our wedding bands, the venue for the ceremony and reception (same place - which comes with catering!), photographer booked, DJ booked, hotel for OOT guests secured, STDs arrived (will mail them out in a few months), chair covers and sashes ordered, bridesmaid dresses picked out, and I have a consultation with hair and makeup artist next week!

Next will be cake, flowers, shuttle for getting guests to/from venue/hotel, and invitations. 

We haven't decided on whether or not we'll be getting a videographer yet, depends on the budget! 

Apple, I wonder the same thing, about whether or not we have enough time to pull it all together, then I remind myself that people plan weddings in less time!!  We'll be fine...repeat, repeat!! : )

AHHH! I don't have ANYTHING booked! Or even picked out really.. I'm still waiting on a guest list from the grooms side!! until then I'm stumped! really.. how long does it take to make a guest list? I asked for it like a month ago! haha

I really have my eyes set on this one place in KY. My family hates the idea because they'll have to drive 2 hours to get there. WOOP D DOO lol. Even if I have it close to home they'll still have to drive 2 hrs! That's what I don't understand. I was going to half the price with my dad, and I think that's the problem. He was wanting to have it in a church that my aunt goes to so it would be free!! I ABSOLUTLY DO NOT want it in a church! So I'm guessin I'm just going to have to pay for all of it myself. I mean.. how many times am I going to get married?! Hopefully once! I should get to have what i want on my day. Well, and my fiance'es day! Who wants to have it in the same place I do!! It's not outragous or nothing. I'm a BIG tight wad! haha. But my dad is an even bigger one!
