Can someone direct me to a site for making simple folded name cards. Also to those of you that had menu options how did you distinguish on the cards?

Thank you

I'm starting to work on this now too so any helpful suggestions are appreciated. For food choices, we were thinking of doing something easy, such as having different color escort cards using our two colors: red and brown. Veggie, which would only be a few, may be something easy like a stamp or clip art on the card. Since we did our own invitations, RSVP, and favor tags/box decorations, I don't want to do anything for the escort cards that require so much effort such as cutting and assembling. Something simple would be nice.

Another option I saw was to have a folded color card with a 2" round label sticker on top with the name and table # on it.

What I did was to buy the regular place cards you can find over at Michael's or Joann's. I put my guest name and their table location. With their entree indicators, I hole punched ribbon slots and used color ribbons for the meals.

I am using basic place cards from www.paper-source.com, then handwriting the guest's name on each, and then stamping the top right corner with an image that indicates the meal selection (a cow for beef, a fish for salmon, and a carrot for veggie). Then I am tying a green ribbon along the length of the place card (I will have them standing in a vertical position, not as tents, but more like "books" - so the ribbon is along the "spine" of the "book>").

I bought the stamps at the Paper Source as well. If you go to the store (there are three stores in SF Bay Area I think) - I go to the one in Berkeley - they show various ideas how to make your place cards more fun. Every time I go to the store, I get inspired and figure out the next paper-related project (e.g. cards for table numbers, thank you notes...)
