Im planning on doing the folded escort cards, does anyone have any suggestions on keeping them from flying away if its windy?  Someone suggested I glue a penny to the back of each card to hold them down but that would look tacky.  Any ideas?

eeek!  Great question.... but not really sure! Maybe the penny would be underneath the folded card..... and the back of the card put in small writing... "For Good Luck".  No one has to know it's REAL reason! and you could buy shiny new 2010 pennies, so folks will remember the "year" you got married.

Just an idea... other than pushing them in a vat of sand.

We're pinning pre-printed paper shaped leaves to apples.... so they card are going NO WHERE!

Good luck!  Keep us posted what you decide.

KCSunset, that's a cute idea to add the "For Good Luck" on there.  I might just do that myself, unless I go with the original plan which was to have pears (instead of apples) with the names pinned into those.

I think I've just decided to do a seating chart and a name card/menu combo insert that goes in a folded napkin.  I don't forsee there being much wind, at least I hope there won't be any at all..
